Jeffrey L. Jeff Turner was named President and CEO of Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., in June, 2005, upon the divestiture of the Boeing Commercial Airplanes Wichita Division, where he had served as Vice President-General Manager since November 1995.
A Kansas native, Mr. Turner’s 30-year career with The Boeing Company began in 1973 when he was employed as a part-time programmer while completing his degree at Wichita State. University.
Mr. Turner is retired now and spends his time on a number of boards, but also gives back to the Wichita community through investing in entrepreneurs and startups throughout Wichita.
